Early life

Bombay is the birthplace of Madhuri Dixit. Shankar and Snehlata Dixit are her parents. She has two elder sisters and an elder brother. Dixit received her education at Divine Child High School in Andheri. Then, she enrolled at the Sathaye College in Vile Parle. .Later, Dixit decided to discontinue studies and pursue a full-time career in films.

Personal life

In 1990, Dixit first dated her co-star Sanjay Dutt. They separated in 1993. On 17 October 1999, Dixit married Shriram Madhav Nene from Los Angeles, California. They have two sons, Arin and Rayaan.
