How to Identify Wrong Word Use

Words and Language

Words and Languages are the counterparts in our daily life. This is one of the great sources of communication in our daily life. The correct use of the words and languagerules makes your task easy to play.

In communication, many aspects are the key features like your tone of voice , expressions, context, and body language. But when we are considering the case of writing, then your text or content is based on the correct use of words and the power of grammar. The three major mistakes that we do in our writing parts are discussed to make you more reliable for the SAT test.

Wrong Situation

The intelligence of the student is measured by the correct use of the words related to the situation. In building the connectivity between your passages and another context to keep its consistency, the correct use of the words and statements makes you clear the relationship of the passage with the conclusions.

The helping material that you can use to improve your language and words are the best use of transitional words. Transitional words need to be used according to the situation.

Mike wanted to go for a baseball game, furthermore, he needs to work night too. In this condition the furthermore is used in the wrong way. The purpose of the furthermore is to create a relationship between the same information. The situation is somehow based on the contrasting transition like however.

The other part of the mistake is the use of “Set” and “Sit”.These words are oftenly used as interchangeable but this is a big mistake.”Sit” is associated with the reference of being seated.

“Set” is used as areplacing word for theobjects. Like

He “sat” the books on the table that need to be replace with; He “set” the books on the table. The final condition where wemostly used the wrong words.”Who” against “which”.Whois used for referring people.

Theboy wholove to swim spent the whole summer at the pool. A boy is a person and who is helping to add the information in the situation.

Which is used to indicate the things mostly for non living creatures. The table belongs to Herry. Always try to use the words in their proper situation regarding the grammar rules.

Adjective vs. Adverb

Another common mistake that we doing solving the writing and language section is an improper use of “Adjective” and “Adverb”.

An adjective is a word that describes the noun, whereas “Adverb” is used for a verb. The best part to use adverb is to see the “suffix-ly. All the adverbs end with the suffix. Adverb is always used with the verb. Examples are given.

People use the word wrong. Here in this example “wrong” is an adjective but in real use, it acts as a verb and needs to be replaced by an adverb.”Quick” is an adjective and “quickly is the adverb.”Real” is an adjective and “really” is an adverb. So the use of nouns regarding the adjective and proper way of the verb as an adverb needs to be clear so the students can use then in their proper situation.

Non words

Non Words are very common in our speech and mostly become part of our daily use. But while in writing these words have no meanings. Speech is a little bit difficult expression than the writing expression.

The first example that will help you to understand the use of non words.”Ain’t” is used as a verb by the people” to be” combined with “not”.

She ain’t going to the game. The suitable way is “She is not going to the game”This is not the perfect place of the “not”.So be careful while using the words.

The second ex sample is “y” all. This word is a contraction of the most common word” You all”.”Y” all can go for shopping today. You can is used to refer to a single person or a group of people. The correct way is “You can go shopping today”.All are unnecessary and you will refer to the group. So non words will change the expression of writing.

'supposably” is an example of non words This non word is often used in a sentence for the theoretical purpose. 'Sara” supposedly wrote the English paper herself. Mispronunciation is used. The person should say 'supposedly, as the root word is 'suppose,' having meaning 'to assume.'. You should be confident to pronounce it perfectly like 'supposedly.' The sentence should be like: 'Sara” supposedly wrote the English paper herself.'
